Happy Mother's Day to you! I hope your boys spoiled you in some small way. You definitely deserve it.
This year is my first year to have a real live baby to hold, and hug, and kiss, and cry tears of gratitude over. I am so honored to be a mother, full time job that it is. But a big part of my willingness to take a leap into the unknown and weighty calling of a mother came because I saw you first bravely and courageously mother your children.
Thank you for finding the joy amidst the stress. The humor amidst the irritating. The hope amidst the overwhelming.
Thank you for passing on advice, baby bouncers, bottles, diapers, toys, and lots and lots of encouragement.
Thank you for being a beautiful, loving, intentional mother- and for helping me learn to be one too.
